Fusion Self Lute, Resin Self Adhesive Luting Cement

Fusion Self Lute is a self-curing/chemical curing luting cement formulated with a polymer resin base. It is primarily used for the permanent cementation of indirect dental restorations such as crowns and bridges.

Composition:

• Base Paste:
  • Bisphenol A Glycidyl Methacrylate
  • Ethoxylated Bisphenol A Dimethacrylate
  • Triethylene Glycol Dimethacrylate
  • Silanated Barium Glass Powder
  • Amorphous Silica
  • Curing Agents and Stabilizer
• Catalyst Paste:
  • Bisphenol A Glycidyl Methacrylate
  • Ethoxylated Bisphenol A Dimethacrylate
  • Triethylene Glycol Dimethacrylate
  • Silanated Barium Glass Powder
  • Amorphous Silica
  • Curing Agent and Stabilizer
  • Pigment

Indications:

• Cementation of inlays, crowns, bridges, and posts made of:
  • Metal and metal ceramics
  • Reinforced composite
  • All ceramics
  • Composites

Instructions for Use:

1. Metal to Enamel/Dentin: Sandblast restoration post try-in. Use a metal primer for treated metal exposure. Clean tooth with non-fluoridated prophy paste/pumice. Use a universal bonding system. Mix equal paste amounts and apply in restoration. Remove excess cement after initial set (2:00-2:30 min) and again after the final set.

2. Metal to Metal: Sandblast and roughen metal surfaces. Use a metal primer for exposed metal. Clean abutments/posts. Mix and apply the pastes as mentioned above.

3. Ceramic Restorations to Teeth: Etch the ceramic, then place in acetone/ethanol. Use silanating agent and clean the tooth. Apply universal bonding system. Mix and apply pastes similarly as mentioned above.

Warnings:

• Adheres to metal instruments; clean immediately.
• Contains methacrylates which might cause irritation. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
• Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse and seek medical attention.
• Do not expose to high temperatures or intense light.
• Avoid storage near alcohol-based materials.

Precautions:

1. Avoid eugenol-containing material and hydrogen peroxide.
2. Let the product reach room temperature before use.
3. Close cap tightly after use.
4. Use only as directed.
5. Only apply paste to the treated restoration surface.

Contraindications: Avoid in patients allergic to any component of this product.

Storage: Store between 10°C(50°F) to 24°C(75°F). Keep away from moisture.

Shelf Life: 2 years from the manufacturing date.
