Micron Superior, Radiopaque Glass Ionomer Filling

Micron Superior is a radiopaque Glass Ionomer Cement designed for:

• Restoration of primary teeth
• Core build up
• Restoration of class III, V, and select class I cavities.

Composition:

• Powder: Fluoro Alumina Silicate Glass
• Liquid: Polyacrylic Acid Liquid Normal Viscosity

Indications:

• Restoration of primary teeth
• Core build-up
• Restoration of class III, V, and specific class I cavities

Instructions for Use:

1. Thoroughly shake the powder bottle each time prior to use.
2. On a mixing pad, dispense one scoop of powder and two drops of liquid. (Standard ratio: 0.19 powder to 0.07 liquid)
3. Split the powder into two equal portions.
4. Mix half of the powder with all the liquid for 15 seconds.
5. Incorporate the second powder portion and mix for an additional 20 seconds, totaling 35 seconds of mixing.
6. Apply the cement to the prepped tooth surface using the appropriate instrument and finalize the restoration.
7. Ensure a setting time of 1:30 to 2:00 (min: sec) for optimal results.

Warnings:

• Avoid extensive or frequent contact with skin and eyes.
• Prevent prolonged inhalation and ingestion.
• Skin contact may lead to irritation, burns, or allergic reactions. Clean immediately with cotton soaked in alcohol and wash extensively with soap and water.
• In cases of allergic reactions like skin rashes, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
• In the event of eye contact, thoroughly rinse with water and seek medical advice.
• Not recommended for patients with a known severe allergic reaction to any component.

Caution:

• If there's contact with oral tissues or skin, promptly remove using a sponge or cotton soaked in alcohol, then rinse with water.
• In the event of eye contact, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.

Contraindications:

1. Not intended for pulp capping.
2. Might cause sensitivity in rare cases. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.

Storage Conditions:

• Store between 10°C and 24°C.
• Seal the cap securely post-use.
• Protect from moisture.
• Retains its shelf life post-opening if stored in a cool, dry location.

Shelf Life:

• 3 years from the manufacturing date.
