Micron Superior Capsules, Glass Ionomer Filling

Micron Superior capsule is a radiopaque Glass Ionomer Cement designed for the restoration of primary teeth, core build-up, and to address class III, V, and select class I cavities.

Composition:

• Powder: Fluoro Alumina Silicate Glass
• Liquid: Polyacrylic Acid Liquid of Normal Viscosity

Indications:

• Restoration of primary teeth
• Core build-up
• Restoration of class III, V, and select class I cavities

Instructions for Use:

1. Prepare the tooth using conventional techniques; intricate mechanical retention is unnecessary.
2. Rinse and dry the tooth. Avoid dessication. Use Micron Dentin Conditioner to eliminate the smear layer.
3. Tap the capsule to free up the powder.
4. Activate the capsule by pushing the plunger on a stable surface until flush with the capsule body.
5. Place the activated capsule immediately into a capsule mixer (2900-3000 oscillations/minute) and mix for 10 seconds.
6. Remove the mixed capsule from the mixer, attach the applicator nozzle, and load onto the Capsule Applier.
7. Press the applier trigger until you observe the glass ionomer paste in the transparent nozzle.
8. Dispense cement into the cavity, ensuring air is not trapped beneath the restoration. Be aware that elevated temperatures can reduce working time.
9. Shape the contour as desired.
10. The working duration is about 1:30 minutes post-mixing at 23°C (73.4°F). The set time ranges from 2:00 to 2:20 minutes.

Warning:

• Prolonged or repeated skin and eye contact is discouraged to prevent allergic contact dermatitis.
• Limit inhalation and avoid ingestion.
• If skin contact occurs, clean immediately with cotton and alcohol, then rinse with soap and water. If allergic reactions manifest, such as rashes or sensitization, cease product use and consult a physician.
• If product contacts eyes, rinse promptly with water and seek medical attention.
• The product is unsuitable for individuals with a known severe allergy to any component.

Precautions:

• Upon contact with oral tissues or skin, immediately cleanse with alcohol-moistened sponge or cotton and rinse with water.
• If there's contact with the eyes, rinse instantly with water and consult a doctor.

Contraindications:

1. Unsuitable for pulp capping.
2. In infrequent instances, the product may induce sensitivity. If such reactions arise, discontinue its use and consult a physician.

Storage Conditions:

• Store between 10°C and 24°C.
• Securely close the cap after use.
• Protect from moisture. Retains shelf life post-opening when stored in a dry, cool environment.

Shelf Life: 3 years from the manufacturing date.
