Zical, Handmix, ZOE Based Root Canal Sealer

Zical is a ZOE (Zinc Oxide Eugenol) root canal sealer crafted for the permanent sealing of dental root canals. Its unique formulation ensures a tight seal of the root apex and prepped root canal, allowing easy removal using Gutta Percha when re-filling becomes necessary. Its core features are:

Composition:

• Powder: Zinc Oxide, Radiopacifier, Accelerator
• Liquid: Eugenol

Intended Purpose/Use: Sealer for the permanent filling of root canals.

Indications:

• Infected root canal treatment
• Root canal sealing with Gutta Percha points

Instructions for Use:

1. Dry the root canal thoroughly.
2. Ensure sterility and dryness of the glass slabs and spatula.
3. On a glass slab, dispense 1 scoop of powder and 4-5 drops of liquid (P:L - 1:2).
4. Gradually incorporate the powder into the liquid, mixing for 2:00-2:30 minutes to achieve a creamy paste.
5. Paste's working time: 30 minutes.
6. Introduce the paste into the root canal using a root explorer.
7. Insert Gutta Percha and seal the coronal end with a base sealer.
8. Setting time: 45-60 minutes post mixing.
9. Never return dispensed material to the container. Discard any leftover mix.

Warnings:

• Contact with skin can result in irritation, burns, or hypersensitivity.
• Avoid inhalation or internal consumption.
• In case of skin contact, remove with cotton and alcohol, and wash with soap and water.
• Consult a physician if allergic reactions or eye contact occurs.
• Not suitable for those with severe allergic reactions to the product's components.

Precautions:

1. Adhere strictly to the provided Instructions for Use.
2. Always use protective wear.
3. Protect Zical from the intraoral environment for its basic nature and solubility.
4. For best results, use a rubber dam or adequate isolation.
5. Avoid overfilling root canals.
6. Ensure a homogeneous, streak-free mix of Zical.
7. Humidity and high temperatures affect the work and set time.
8. Securely close containers post use.
9. Storage temperature should not exceed 24°C(75°F). If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before use. Keep away from moisture. Do not freeze. Use before expiration.

Contraindications:

• Not to be used for patients allergic to Iodine compounds.
• Avoid contact with eyes.

Storage Conditions: Store between 10°C(50°F) and 24°C(75°F) in a cool, dry place. Ensure the cap is securely fastened post-use.

Shelf Life: 3 years from production date.
