Hemostat Liquid, 15ml, Topical Hemostatic Solution

Hemostal is a 25% Buffered Aluminium Chloride solution, specially formulated to control and stop minor bleeding. It additionally helps in controlling fluids in the sulcus surrounding the tooth during various dental procedures.

Composition:

• Aluminium Chloride
• Glycerine
• Purified Water
• Excipients

Intended Purpose/Use: A topical hemostatic agent specifically designed to control gingival bleeding.

Indications:

• Used to restrict and halt bleeding during:
  • Restorative procedures
  • Crown preparations
  • Oral prophylaxis

Instructions for Use:

1. Saturate a cotton pellet with Hemostal.
2. Apply the saturated cotton pellet directly to the desired area.
3. Dispose of the used material properly. Do not return any dispensed material back to the container or reuse it.

Warnings:

• Prolonged or repetitive contact with the skin and eyes should be avoided.
• Inhalation of the product's fumes should be minimized.
• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Skin contact may lead to irritation, burns, or allergic reactions. If this occurs, immediately wipe the area with cotton soaked in alcohol and wash thoroughly with soap and water.
• In case of eye contact, rinse with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Discontinue use and consult a physician if allergic reactions, such as rash or sensitization, occur.
• Avoid using on patients known to be allergic to any of Hemostal's ingredients.

Precautions:

1. Do not allow contact with the skin or eyes. If contact occurs, follow the procedures listed in the Warnings section.
2. Inhalation of fumes is discouraged.
3. For external use only.

Contraindications:

• Hemostal is not suitable for patients known to be allergic to any of its ingredients.

Storage Conditions:

• Store in a cool, dry place, preferably between 10°C (50°F) and 24°C (75°F).
• Always keep the cap tightly sealed to prevent moisture entry.

Shelf Life:

• 3 years from the manufacturing date.
